The idea for Blacksoup could just as well have sprung from an idle cup of coffee as from the deepest pocket of serious thought. It has been mistaken for the name of a café, a goth band, a book of remedies and who knows what else. What it is really is filmmakers’ collective dedicated to applying John Nash’s law of governing dynamics in its creative life. In plain speak, the law says that two heads are better than one, and in Blacksoup’s case, why settle for two when you can have five heads working together.
